Cake Order Pickup Timelines

All Half and Full Sheet Cakes sizes require a $20.00 per cake, down payment at the time of order and reduces the final balance upon pickup. Phone orders will require a credit card to secure the $20.00 down payment and In-Store ordering can be paid via cash, check or credit card. Any refunds are issued as in-store credit via gift certificate.

Wedding cakes can be ordered up to 2-3 weeks before the event. If ordered within 2 weeks of the event 100% payment is required at that time; 50% down required if greater than 2 weeks.

Tasting cake is a sample of up to 6 filling flavors, served within an 1/8th size yellow sheet cake. The tasting cake is free with the purchase of any multi- stacked, layered, tiered wedding cake layouts only – no sheet cakes. One free cake per wedding event (with a minimum cake order of $250).

All other cakes see schedule below. Timelines below are set for cakes to be picked up in the same week in which they are ordered. A pickup request shorter than the timeline below will be subject to a Rush Fee.

  • Pickup on Monday, order due by prior Thursday and will be frozen for pickup.
  • Pickup on Tuesday, order due by prior Saturday.
  • Pickup on Wed, order due by Monday before noon CST
  • Pickup on Thursday, order due by Tuesday before noon CST
  • Pickup on Friday, order due by Wed before noon CST
  • Pickup on Saturday/Sunday/Monday, orders due by Wed before noon CST (all cakes for the weekend are done between Friday & Saturday).

Min/Max Serving Size

Min serving size is a piece cut 2″ x 3″ and Max serving size is a piece cut 2″x 2″.

Refundable Fee

Within our pricing structure, is a refundable fee to cover the cost of our reusable cake plates and pillars. Within one week after your event, we ask you to return the pillars/plates to us. When items are returned, we will mail a check to you for the refund amount minus any replacement charges due to damage or missing pieces.

Serving Notes

Two serving numbers are provided for each cake. If you plan to save the top cake for your first anniversary – we suggest you use the smaller serving number. If you plan to serve the entire cake – then use the larger number. Serving numbers are based on a 1”x2” slice.

Booking Deposit

For wedding cakes and other large cake orders, we require 50% down with the rest to be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the event. 50% of any order will be held as a nonrefundable deposit.

Delivery Options

Delivery includes guarantee arrival and repair of any damage during transit. See below for additional cake delivery** and floral arranging options.***

  • **Sheet/Layer Cake: In town of New Glarus – Free of Charge, Outside New Glarus  – $2.00/mile
  • ***Floral Arrangements: For any fresh or artificial flowers, we prefer your florist to provide their services to add the decor to the cake at your event location. If your florist is unavailable to do so, we will be happy to provide our services at an hourly rate of $20/hr of floral arranging time.
