SHIPPING RATES to Alaska, Hawaii, Florida Keys, are all subject to UPS expedited shipping prices at the time of ordering.
The best method of shipping to ensure the freshest products upon receipt are chosen by the Bakery team, using UPS as our main service provider.
All shipping orders will have a tracking number sent via email at the time of shipping. Whitelist the email address orders@newglarusbakery.com to prevent the emails landing in the spam or promotions folders.
We ship Monday – Thursday based on the shipping date chosen upon checkout. Due to seasonal demands & weather related factors, we may suggest a better date/day of the week to ensure ultimate freshness and timely arrival.
Military Shipments – We are honored to ship to the men and women serving our country. Please contact us directly if you are wishing to do so.
Why am I being charged "Extra Product Charges"?
We ship highly perishable, hand-crafted bakery items that require extra packaging to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Some products even include their own pastry bag of icing for DIY decorating, allowing you to add a personal touch at home. Unlike mass-manufactured goods, our bakery items are made by a dedicated team of 15 talented individuals in the small town of New Glarus, home to just 2,300 people. We take pride in preserving over 114 years of baking tradition, and shipping these artisanal products with care is part of that commitment.
These additional charges reflect the extra measures we take to protect the quality and freshness of our bakery items, ensuring they arrive just as delicious as when they left our ovens.

How do I Ensure My Gift Arrives Safely & On Time?
When sending perishable items as gifts, it’s essential to keep your recipient informed. While we take every precaution to package our products carefully, the timing of UPS delivery is beyond our control. If your recipient does not have access to the tracking number, please make sure to give them a call to let them know their gift is on its way. This will ensure they are prepared to receive the perishable items promptly upon delivery. We recommend this extra step to help maintain the quality and freshness of the gift you’re sending.
