SHIPPING RATES to Alaska, Hawaii, Florida Keys, are all subject to UPS expedited shipping prices at the time of ordering.

The best method of shipping to ensure the freshest products upon receipt are chosen by the Bakery team, using UPS as our main service provider.

All shipping orders will have a tracking number sent via email at the time of shipping. Whitelist the email address orders@newglarusbakery.com to prevent the emails landing in the spam or promotions folders.

We ship Monday – Thursday based on the shipping date chosen upon checkout. Due to seasonal demands & weather related factors, we may suggest a better date/day of the week to ensure ultimate freshness and timely arrival.

Military Shipments – We are honored to ship to the men and women serving our country. Please contact us directly if you are wishing to do so.

Why am I being charged "Special Handling"?

You’re ordering, and we’re shipping hand-made bakery. Some of our items require some additional love to make sure you get them fresh, fast and hopefully in one piece. We would like to be completely transparent, therefore, the additional handling fee is displayed.

During the summertime or hot weather destinations, high temperatures can affect the quality and freshness of all of our products. To mitigate the heat and maintain product integrity, we need to create a specialized packaging environment. This includes using specialty packaging materials such as cold packs, mylar wrapping and / or potentially upgrading your shipping method to ensure a better delivery date. The fee helps us cover these additional costs associated with maintaining product quality during transit.

Will I be charged the Additional Handling Fee for all my products?

No, the Additional Handling Fee is only applicable to certain products that require specialized packaging and shipping methods to ensure product quality during the summertime. If your order falls into this category, the fee will be applied. Otherwise, it won’t be charged. You will see the additional handling fee displayed in your cart.

Can I opt-out of the Additional Handling Fee?

Unfortunately, opting out of the Additional Handling Fee is not possible for orders that require specialized packaging. Our priority is to ensure that your products arrive in the best possible condition, and the fee helps us cover the additional costs associated with achieving this goal.

How can I avoid the Additional Handling Fee?

The Additional Handling Fee can only be avoided by ordering products that do not require specialized packaging, or schedule a pickup here in our store in New Glarus, Wisconsin. We would love to see you in person!!
