A very traditional Swiss pear bread made with many spices, dried pears and dried apples, all tucked inside a beautiful and tasteful wrapped dough.
Seasonal item. Available Nov 1st – Dec 31st annually and then again Mar 1st – Apr 30th for the spring season.
One 1lb loaf per order.
Wrapping (unbleached bread flour, water butter, milk powder, sugar, barley malt, salt, yeast), filling (wheat bread dough(whole wheat flour, water, yeast sugar, shortening, salt, s-500), dried apples, dried pears, rum soaked raisins, sugar, glucose or honey, dried plums, walnuts, orange rind, lemon rind, anise, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg.
